PCH Associates is a professional building consultancy. Established in 2012, we support organisations to manage, maintain and improve their estates in a way that is strategic, practical and proportionate.
Our role is to bring clarity to complex estate challenges, reduce pressure on internal teams and ensure investment delivers long-term value.
- Established in 2012 with a strong focus on education and sports and leisure
- RICS regulated and wholly independent
- Experienced in projects from £1,500 to £7M+
- Trusted by schools, Multi-Academy Trusts, local authorities, Catholic Diocese and sporting bodies
- Known for a strategic, honest and straightforward approach
We work with schools, Multi-Academy Trusts, local authorities and sporting bodies to help them understand risk, plan with confidence and deliver capital projects successfully.
Financial stability and reassurance
We provide a dependable service, even in uncertain conditions. During the Covid-19 pandemic, our team continued to support clients without interruption, despite delays to funding announcements. Our Dun & Bradstreet A1 rating reflects the financial strength of the practice.
Professional, experienced people
PCH is an RICS regulated practice with RICS, RIBA, CIOB and CIAT accredited professionals. Our experienced, well-established team brings strong technical knowledge and a clear understanding of the sectors we work in.
A proactive and cost-effective approach
We recognise that every organisation is different. Our approach is tailored to each client’s objectives, timescales and risk profile, using procurement routes and delivery methods that offer best value while managing risk effectively.
Funding knowledge that adds value
We bring a detailed understanding of capital funding streams and the wider policy context in which they sit. This experience allows us to identify opportunities, shape credible investment cases and support clients in securing funding that aligns with their strategic priorities.
Wholly independent advice
As we do not work for contractors, our advice is always impartial. This independence ensures decisions are made solely in our clients’ best interests, free from conflicts of interest.
A proven track record
We take a careful, considered approach to every commission. In over 13 years of trading, we have never had to make a claim under our Professional Indemnity Insurance, reflecting the robustness and professionalism of our work.
Our strategies have a proven track record of helping organisations achieve their goals.
Many organisations come to us facing ageing estate infrastructure, increasing compliance requirements and funding that does not keep pace with rising costs; often alongside limited internal capacity to manage risk, plan strategically or keep up with changing legislation. By keeping our advice clear, proportionate and focused on what really matters, we reduce the burden on already stretched teams and enable clients to make informed decisions with confidence.
Our strategies help organisations:
- Understand the condition, performance and risks within their estate
- Identify clear priorities and develop realistic, achievable strategies
- Address decarbonisation, sustainability and biodiversity requirements within constrained budgets
- Navigate legislative change, including the Building Safety Act and the Procurement Act
In April 2025, PCH Associates became an employee-owned business.
This milestone reflects our long-term commitment to quality, continuity and client care, with every member of the team directly invested in maintaining the high standards our clients expect.
Client satisfaction sits at the heart of our culture. Everyone at PCH shares responsibility for delivering a consistent, reliable service and for building trusted, long-term relationships with the organisations we support.
Our practice is structured around three specialist teams:
The Surveying Team
Our surveyors work closely with clients from the development of the Estate Strategy through to project delivery. They bring strong technical, contractual and project co-ordination expertise, ensuring schemes are well planned, carefully managed and delivered safely, on time and within budget.
The Architectural Team
The architectural team supports estate planning, feasibility studies and the design process, from planning applications through to detailed technical information. Their in-depth understanding of planning policy, building regulations and sector-specific guidance ensures proposals are robust, compliant and practical to deliver.
The Administration Team
Our administration team provides essential continuity and support across all projects. They work closely with both clients and technical teams, issuing regular financial updates and assisting with compliance and facilities management systems to keep information clear, accurate and up to date.
The Directors
Daniel, Mark, and Phil were appointed directors in April 2025 when PCH Associates became an Employee Ownership Trust. Between them they have in excess of 90-years construction industry experience, and as part of the Surveying Team are actively involved in all aspects of project delivery.
